A member of staff will be assigned to help you with enquiries and finding your way around the island. Some of the most frequently required services are listed below:
Entry formalities and Yacht Clearance
Formalities are very simple in Calero Marinas and entry forms can be sent on for completion prior to arrival. Where passports require Border Police stamps, appointments can be made for you. Clearance documents in the form of stamped and signed berthing contracts showing previous and future destination ports and occupancy dates will be provided upon departure. Refuse collection certificates can also be provided upon request.
This is made easy with a choice of hypermarkets and fresh fish, fruit and vegetable specialists. All can be delivered to your yacht. There are also weekly morning markets selling local produce: in Arrecife (Plaza de San Gines) on Saturday and Mancha Blanca (Plaza de los Dolores) on Sundays. A provisioning service for food and drinks can be arranged. Please ask for recommendations and any help required sourcing unusual items.
Car hire and chauffeured car services
There is a car hire office in the marina open daily and an executive chauffeured service can be booked via the concierge desk.
Flower arrangements and loose flowers can be ordered to the boat. If needed, the stylist can visit the boat in order to discuss suitable colours and requirements.
Catering and hosting
For catering assistance, the Michelin-recommended Amura restaurant has significant experience catering for parties.
The island of Lanzarote features spectacular locations. The Timanfaya National Park displays a dramatic lunarscape and provides geothermic demonstrations. Various other impressive legacies of the volcanic eruptions include Las Cuevas de los Verdes caves and Los Jameos del Agua formed of spacious volcanic caverns. Other recommendations include the César Manrique’s foundation, the cobbled street of Teguise with its Sunday market, the seafood restaurants along the length of the fishing village of El Golfo and the wine bodegas of La Geria.
Spas and swimming pools
In Puerto Calero, both the Hotel Costa Calero and Hotel Hesperia have swimming pools and offer discounted marina access to their spas and services. Tennis and paddle courts are also available.
There are numerous private clinics, dentists, physiotherapists and both a public and private hospital on the island. For useful contacts such as emergency telephone numbers in each marina, see the relevant lists in Puerto Calero and Marina Lanzarote.
Post and courier services
Post can be received in the marina office. Please try to advise staff however if large parcels are expected and try to sort out any customs charges in advance since it is difficult to accept parcels if unexpected payments are required.
Post can be sent to the boat using the following address:
