Bus Travel

The local buses (or “guaguas”) are a good way to get to the main tourist centres of the island. Most trips cost between €1-€3 depending on the line.  The Puerto Calero bus stop is just outside the marina. For a full list of bus routes and timetables, visit: www.intercitybuslanzarote.es.

Bike Hire

Lanzarote offers some very enjoyable cycle routes – for both mountain and road bikes and there is a delightful coastal route between Arrecife and Puerto Calero. Bikes can be hired from Lanzarote Bike via their base in the Costa Calero Hotel.

Two airlines operate multiple daily flights between the islands: Binter Canarias (all islands) and Canaryfly (Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura). Culture

Lanzarote’s curious volcanic topography and the vision of César Manrique have provided this island with some extraordinary and unusual visits. Start at the Fundación César Manrique museum in Tahiche and then don’t miss the Jameos del Agua and Cuevas de los Verdes or the Timanfaya National Park visit. An integral part of Lanzarote’s identity is the extensive viticulture with traditional bodegas and emblematic grape cultivation systems.
