The new Club Deportivo C\u00f3digo Cero will open officially at the Jornada de la N\u00e1utica y el Medio Ambiente in Puerto Calero<\/h4>\n

Andr\u00e9s Ramirez Morales started sailing as a child and after completing his studies in Business Management, quickly saw that a desk job wasn\u2019t fulfilling any ambitions and so head out on an ambitious path to create his own sailing school.<\/p>\n

Teaching sailing in J80 boats, he found that his passion for sailing was contagious, especially amongst local wen who had been diverted away from sailing as children, when it wasn\u2019t considered a traditionally \u201cfemale\u201d pastime. With a loyal following, full courses and now some pretty competent racing crew, he braced himself for the next step.<\/p>\n

On Sunday 11th<\/sup> June at the Jornada de la N\u00e1utica y el Medio Ambiente, Puerto Calero\u2019s annual eco-open day, Andr\u00e9s will officially open his new \u201cClub Deportivo C\u00f3digo Cero\u201d with the chance to try J80 sailing, kayak and stand up paddle.<\/p>\n

An activity-filled Summer Camp will be set up during the school holidays, together with local fitness experts MC2 Action. After this, the new school will begin in earnest with the addition of dinghy sailing.<\/p>\n

Describing the location of his new club, not far from the entrance to Puerto Calero, he said; \u201cOne of the great benefits of this part of Puerto Calero is that it is naturally sheltered. If we want wind, we can go out a little further up the coast and find it, but this is perfect for beginners, with beautifully clear waters and a reliably calm sea-state. People love the surroundings and we really have everything we need right here.\u201d<\/p>\n
