All of this translates into a significant economic impact for the island, boosting the local economy and reinforcing our image as a high-quality destination”.

For his part, the manager of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor
Fernández, emphasised that “the arrival of the 52 SUPER SERIES reaffirms the strategy that
we have been promoting for years through Lanzarote Sports Destination. It has been twenty years since Lanzarote hosted that first TP52 World Championship, when this class was taking its first steps. After two decades of constant work to establish the island as an international benchmark for sailing, today we have the pleasure of hosting two of the most important events on the circuit. It is an opportunity to put Lanzarote back on the world map of this sport and for fans and teams to enjoy two exceptional events.”

The operation is being coordinated by Pindar Partners Ltd, the freight forwarder and sponsor of the 52 SUPER SERIES, in collaboration with Cargo Lanzarote, the Port of Arrecife, SanCargo as customs agent, and the companies responsible for unloading and transporting the fleet to Marina Rubicón and Puerto Calero.
