{"id":14810,"date":"2019-01-17T10:46:17","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T09:46:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caleromarinas.com\/?p=14810"},"modified":"2019-01-17T10:50:02","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T09:50:02","slug":"panerai-transat-classique-sail-out-from-marina-lanzarote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.caleromarinas.com\/en\/panerai-transat-classique-sail-out-from-marina-lanzarote\/","title":{"rendered":"PANERAI TRANSAT CLASSIQUE SAIL OUT FROM MARINA LANZAROTE"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>After a week of preparation in Marina Lanzarote the ladies of the sea unfold their sails on route to St. Kitts<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The Real Club N\u00e1utico Arrecife committee boat gave the starting signal to the Panerai Transat Classique fleet.<\/p>\n<p>This marked the end of an intense week in Marina Lanzarote, where the sailors could get ready for their Atlantic Crossing.<\/p>\n<p>A week to enjoy the benefits of the island, it\u00b4s cuisine and culture through the many activities scheduled for them and the access to a great range of services offered by the location of the marina in the heart of Arrecife city.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cladies of the sea\u201d unfolded their wonderful sails off the coast of Arrecife, in Lanzarote. 3,000 nautical miles separate the fleet of classics from Christophe Harbour, in St. Kitts. The route will take an average of 20 days, and although the imposing Xarifa, from 1927, with its 49.5 meters of length promises to take the lead, the rest of the fleet is not going to make it easy for them.<\/p>\n<p>The Panerai Transat Classique 2019 boats are: Xarifa (J.M. Soper, 1927), Stiren (O. Stephens, 1963), Lys (Stephens-Sangermani, 1955), Coch and Bondhu (R. Paul &amp; L. Giles, 1936) , Hilaria (Sparkman &amp; Stephens, 1953), Aramis (F. Maas, 1964), Bryell (F. Maas, 1968) and Glen Mael (Sparkman &amp; Stephens, 1973) and Eilean (W. Fife III &amp; R. Balderton Fife, 1936). A very diverse fleet, which will make for a close race.
