Entry formalities and Yacht Clearance<\/h3>\n

Formalities are very simple in Calero Marinas and entry forms can be sent on for completion prior to arrival. Where passports require Border Police stamps, appointments can be made. Clearance documents in the form of stamped and signed berthing contracts showing previous and future destination ports and occupancy dates will be provided upon departure. Refuse collection certificates are also available upon request.<\/p>\n

Provisioning<\/h3>\n

This is made easy with a choice of hypermarkets and fresh fish, fruit and vegetable specialists. All can be delivered to your yacht. There are also weekly morning markets selling local produce: in Arrecife (Plaza de Las Palmas) on Saturday and Mancha Blanca (Plaza de los Dolores) on Sundays. Flower arrangements and loose flowers can be ordered to the boat. If needed, the stylist can discuss suitable colours and requirements. A provisioning service for food and drinks can be arranged. Please ask for recommendations and any help required sourcing unusual items.<\/p>\n

Car hire and chauffeured car services<\/h3>\n

There is a car hire office in the marina open daily and an executive chauffeured service can also be arranged. The island is offers fantastic cycling routes \u2013\u00a0find out more\u2026<\/a><\/p>\n

Island Visits<\/h3>\n

The island of Lanzarote features spectacular locations. The emblematic\u00a0Timanfaya National Park\u2019<\/a>s guided visit passes through a dramatic lunarscape and includes geothermic demonstrations. Various other impressive legacies of the volcanic eruptions include the\u00a0Cueva de los Verdes<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jameos del Agua<\/a>\u00a0formed from spacious volcanic tubes. Other recommendations include the\u00a0C\u00e9sar Manrique\u2019s Foundation<\/a>, the cobbled streets and colonial architecture of pretty\u00a0Teguise<\/a>, the seafood restaurants along the length of the fishing village of El Golfo and the wine bodegas of La Geria.<\/p>\n

Fun stuff<\/h3>\n

If a free afternoon comes up, Lanzarote is blessed with great spots for surfing, kitesurfing, and windsurfing. There are also numerous good dive sites and off-road mountain bike routes. The karting centres will help organise a team events. Look through this section for more.<\/p>\n

Post and courier services<\/h3>\n

Post can be received in the marina offices. Do take care if ordering large or valuable items since customs charges may well be applied which complicates parcel receipt<\/p>\n

Spas, gyms and swimming pools<\/h3>\n

In Puerto Calero, both the Hotel Costa Calero and Hotel Hesperia offer discounted marina access to their spas and services. Tennis and paddle courts are also available. The MC2 Action gym in the marina is highly recommended. Use your Calero Marinas Card for discounted rates.<\/p>\n
