Location<\/h3>\n

Marina Lanzarote enjoys a strategic location as the first well-serviced marina upon arriving in the Canary Islands. The facility is positioned along the sheltered breakwater of the Puerto de Naos harbour, SW of the Puerto de los M\u00e1rmoles.<\/p>\n

Right in the island\u2019s capital, Arrecife, the marina benefits from direct access to both the traditional maritime area of Lanzarote, Puerto de Naos, with chandleries, hardware and fishing suppliers, whilst also having the additional convenience of being only a few minutes stroll from the main shopping area replete with banks, gyms, supermarkets restaurants and bars.<\/p>\n

By Car<\/h3>\n

12 minutes from Arrecife Airport:<\/p>\n

Marina Lanzarote is located along the coast in the island\u2019s capital, to the east of the airport. From the airport then follow signs toward Arrecife. Continue until signposted off right towards the Cabildo (local government offices) and the Gran Hotel, a multi-storey hotel on the sea front of Arrecife.\u00a0 Here turn take the second exit off the roundabout to follow the seafront road E, past the beach and the Gran Hotel. Continue along the waterfront road, passing a bridge to a fort on your right and you will come across the sign-posted entry to Marina Lanzarote.<\/p>\n

The 7.2km journey takes approximately 12 minutes but can be hindered during commercial hours by mild traffic.<\/p>\n

On foot \/ by bike<\/h3>\n

There is a great coastal routes, perfect for walking or cycling, from Puerto Calero via Puerto del Carmen, Playa Honda and Arrecife. Playa Honda offers welcome relief in the way of restaurants and bars and there are numerous beaches along the route for a quick swim. Taxis from Marina Lanzarote to Arrecife Airport:<\/strong>
\nNearest taxi rank is approximately 700m away, either left out of the marina and south on the main waterfront, just next to the bridge \u201cPuente de las Bolas\u201d leading to the Castillo San Gabriel, or next to the children\u2019s park near the small roundabout close to the Marine College opposite the marina.

By Bus (10 mins)<\/h3>\n

Leaving from the Arrivals floor in both terminals, the number 22 (Monday to Friday) or 23 (weekends and bank holidays) buses will take you to the \u201cIntercambiador\u201d bus stop which is at the W end of Playa del Reducto. The cost one-way is 1.35\u20ac. If arriving at the weekend you are in luck since the route passes just opposite the marina.<\/p>\n

If arriving on a weekday, with the n\u00ba 22, alighting at the \u201cIntercambiador\u201d, there is either 2.5km walk E along the town\u2019s waterfront (approx 30 minutes), alternatively taxis are available from the rank across the road.<\/p>\n
